Writing a CV is something most of us dread, but preparing your CV is like updating your passport – once you have it, you are free to roam.

It’s also something we put off doing until we have to and at that point, we are probably more focused on getting it done than doing it well.

Taking the time to think, to research, to reflect is important in being both productive and effective so why wouldn’t you do the same for your CV?

It’s worth the effort. And it will hurt less when you are rushing to meet an application deadline if you have a CV ready to go.
